DESCRIPTION:Join us in-person with Nikki Romanik\, MD\, the immediate past Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of the White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response in Washington\, D.C. Dr. Romanik is a highly accomplished public health leader with expertise in policy development and implementation during pandemic\, biosecurity\, and global health events. She has over 15 years of leadership in both national and international initiatives having led response and preparedness planning for the White House\, CDC\, and the WHO during the Covid-19 and Mpox outbreaks. Over her career\, she has been primarily focused on early detection and response to biological threats\, the role of the US government in vaccine development\, and building stakeholder relationships.
