AI and Ethics in Healthcare: From Innovation to Responsible Implementation

Date: Thursday, December 10, 2026

Time: 5:30pm – 7:00pm (EST)

Location: Virtual

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how healthcare organizations approach clinical care, education, research, operations, and decision-making. As adoption grows, healthcare leaders face an increasingly important question: how do we capture the benefits of AI while protecting equity, safety, transparency, and trust?

This discussion will explore responsible AI from multiple perspectives, including clinical practice, governance and research ethics, workforce education, technology innovation, and health equity. Participants will examine where bias and risk can enter the AI lifecycle, how organizations can establish meaningful oversight, how clinicians and leaders should evaluate AI-generated information, and how diverse perspectives can help shape more equitable solutions.

Rather than viewing responsible AI solely as a technology or compliance issue, the conversation will focus on the shared responsibility of healthcare leaders, clinicians, researchers, technology partners, and communities to ensure AI improves care without reinforcing existing disparities.
