Krischa Winright serves as Executive Vice President of Senior Health Services which is part of Emergent Holdings and contracted to perform services on behalf of BCBSM related to Medicare Advantage. In this role, Krischa is accountable for the performance and development of the Medicare business unit for BCBSM which has over $8 billion in annual revenue and serves over 750,000 members. Krischa’s passion and drive for healthcare innovation is applied daily in this evolving and growing market. Krischa is driving transformation through leveraging advanced analytics to target and drive growth opportunities, deploying innovative clinical programs, creating digital solutions to drive increased consumer engagement, and advancing partnerships with key providers, partners, employers, and agents who join with us in this mission. She has an extensive background with over 25 years of healthcare and technology leadership, with extensive experience in Medicare Advantage and marketing.
Prior to joining Senior Health Services in 2017, Krischa served for 18 years in a variety of leadership positions including CIO and CMO with Priority Health, a subsidiary of Spectrum Health, including supporting government markets launches, new product development and distribution. She also led digital team innovation and product development for Spectrum Health, as well as participated in critical projects to transform care at the intersection of payer and provider within an integrated healthcare system. Krischa’s strategic leadership with Priority Health helped it to become one of the fastest growing plans in the country.
Krischa has also received several honors and awards. In November 2016, she was named to Crain’s Detroit Magazine’s “50 Names to Know in Information Technology” and is a sought-after speaker locally and nationally on the topic of consumerism and digitization of healthcare.
