The Whole Patient: Reimagining Health Care Through Behavioral Health Integration
Date: Wednesday, September 30, 2026
Time: 12:00pm – 1:30pm (EST)
Location: Virtual
Hospitals across Michigan are being asked to do more with behavioral health patients, from ED boarding to discharge to long-term community follow-up, all while facing workforce changes, shifting Medicaid policy, and continuous focus on quality and safety. This panel brings together healthcare leaders who are actively navigating these pressures to talk candidly about what is working, what is still breaking down, and where the field needs to go next. This conversation centers on real operational decisions: who gets called when a bed opens up, how partnerships actually get structured, what “Zero Suicide” looks like once implementation begins, and how leaders are preparing their teams for what comes next. Attendees will leave with practical insight they can bring back to their own organizations, along with a clearer picture of where the field is headed over the next three to five years.
